Chadron State College is located in Charon, Nebraska, has a population of approximately 6,000 residents. Chadron State, founded in 1885, is a public university located just one hour from one of of America's most famous landmarks, Mount Rushmore. 

The university enrolls some 3,000 students and offers some 80 Undergraduate and Graduate degree programs. The costs at Charon State are some of the lowest in the US. for 2015/2016 Undergraduate Tuition is just $2,600 per semester and Graduate Tuition is $4,000 per semester.

Priority application deadline for the fall semester is July 1 and December 1 for the spring semester. For MBA students who apply for the second 8 week intake of a semester, the priority application deadline for the fall semester is September 1 and February 1 for the spring semester. Applications will be accepted and considered after the priority deadlines, but you are encouraged to apply as early as possible to allow you to be considered for scholarships and to allow sufficient time to secure a visa to enter the United States. The visa process can be a time intensive process.

Chadron State College does not charge an application fee. A deposit may be required for admitted students.
Application Process

Note: all of the following information must be received by Office of International Education BEFORE a student will be considered for full admission.

Step 1: Fully complete and submit your online application.
CSC DOES NOT CHARGE AN APPLICATION FEE.

Step 2: Arrange to have your official transcripts sent to CSC.Applicants who have graduated from a high school outside the United States and are applying as entering freshman must provide a certified English translation of their official transcript confirming the applicant:
.Has completed a high school program equivalent to a U.S. high school program.
.Has achieved a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required for applicants applying to the CSC "Pre-med" Human Biology, Molecular Biology, or Chemistry Options.

Step 3: Arrange to have proof of English proficiency sent to CSC.Test of English Language as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)*
The minimum required score is:
?550 with no section score less than 56 (paper based)
?79/80 (Internet based)
?213 with no section score less than 22 (computer based)

.International English Language Test System (IELTS)*
Minimum required score is 6.5. Arrangements to take the IELTS can be found at: IELTS.

Minimum required scores are as follows: English 19, Reading 19.

.SAT
Minimum required scores for tests taken after May 2007 are as follows: Reading 440, English/Writing 440.

.Completion of a minimum of six (6) credit hours of English composition with a "C" or better from an accredited American higher education institution.
.Successful completion of a CSC-recognized intensive English language training program within two years of application at a level CSC determines equivalent to the TOEFL or IELTS exams. Acceptable English language program providers at: CSC-Approved English Language Providers.
.Applicant is from an exempted country. English Proficiency Exempt Countries.

CSC reserves the right to require additional testing of any incoming student's English skills. If it is determined that additional English studies are necessary, you may be required to take the appropriate intensive English program courses prior to, or concurrent with, enrolling in CSC academic programs. Refusal to do so, or failure to successfully complete it, may result in dismissal from CSC.

Tips for Submitting your Application

To ensure timely processing of your application, international applicants should:
1.Use your full legal name on all documents. ?Make sure you use your full legal name, exactly as it appears on your passport.
?Make sure that your name is spelled correctly and consistently on your application and all the supporting documents.
?Be sure to write your full legal name on all of your application materials (application fee, test scores, Financial Declaration and Certification, bank letter, academic records, etc.).

2.Submit all application materials as soon as possible.
3.Do not list a Post Office Box as your permanent foreign address. ?In order for us to issue your I-20 form, the permanent home address listed on your application for admission must be a foreign street address.

4.Be sure to use the correct Chadron State College mailing address. ?Send all materials to the Admissions Office, 1000 Main Street, Crites Hall, Chadron, NE 69337, USA.

5.Provide us with an accurate email address.



REQUIREMENTS: Masters


Entrance requirements for the MBA based program
.Complete application - the form is available at https://www.csc.edu/apply/now/
.Earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution with a grade point average of 2.75 or better on a 4.00 scale
.Official transcripts from the college/university which issued bachelor's degree. 
.Official transcripts from any institutions attended after receiving bachelor's degree (if applicable)
.New applicants will be required to complete the Inbound Peregrine Exam (Pre-Program Assessment). Students interested in obtaining an MBA degree are highly encouraged to complete the Inbound Peregrine Exam PRIOR to the starting of classes but it MUST be completed within the first two weeks. MBA students who do not successfully complete the Inbound Peregrine Exam by the end of the first course(s) are converted to a non-degree seeking status. This exam costs approximately $32.00, does not require any preparation, and takes approximately 2 hours to complete. A link and password to access the exam will be provided once the admission application has been processed. ?Students who attain a satisfactory score can then proceed with their MBA degree with no additional preparatory or prerequisite coursework needed.
?Students who do not meet the minimum score established by the department on the Inbound Peregrine Exam will be required to take the Academic Leveling Course (ALC) through Peregrine Academic Services. The ALC course is comprised of fifteen modules and must be completed prior to enrollment of the next course. MBA students who do not successfully complete the ALC modules by the end of the first course(s) are converted to a non-degree seeking status. This self-paced course is designed to be a primer for the returning business major who has been out of school for a period of time. 


Note: This is a 36-credit hour degree program. The MBA graduate student is to complete at least 24 semester hours of graduate coursework after being accepted for graduate study. A student may be able to transfer a maximum of nine (9) graduate credit hours from an accredited institution.

All MBA students will also be expected to complete a required exit exam prior to graduation.
